Pull into the North parking lot at St. Bernadette Church. The car line will go around the backside of the church to the front of the gym at St. John XXIII school. We ask that parents go around the church so the car line does not back onto 60th Street. The camp check-in and pick up is located at the gym. Every morning and afternoon, we provide a “kiss and go” drop off/pick up. “Kiss and go” is from 8:20-8:30am and 3:30-3:40. Simply pull up and the counselors will ask a few screening questions and take temperatures before your campers get out of the car. We will then welcome them into the camp in the morning! In the afternoon, parents will need to sign out our youngest campers (Diamondbacks). We ask that parents bring their own pen. If you arrive at any other time, please park and call the camp phone. We will bring your camper out to you Half day campers will be picked up in the drop off/pick up at 11:30am.
Days of the Week: Monday - Thursday afternoon
Location: Paradise Valley Pool Campers and staff are bused 3 miles to and from swimming.
Safety: City lifeguards guard the pool. There will be Lifeguard Certified Hubbard staff on deck during swim time observing our campers even when city lifeguards are on duty. Additional Hubbard staff will be in the water watching the campers.
Swim Test: The city lifeguards administer a swim test. Campers must swim the width (about 20 yards) of the pool independently. Campers who do not pass the swim test will be given a life vest (US Coast Guard approved) to wear while swimming.
Emily is brand new to the Hubbard team and is beyond excited to join the team! Prior to Camp Hubbard, Emily worked at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida in many different roles and loved every second of it! She got her undergraduate degree in Business from ASU and is currently in school to receive her teaching certificate for secondary education in History. She can’t wait for this summer!em
