Drop Off and Pick Up

Enter Griffith Elementary off of Palm Lane. As you enter the parking lot, turn left and drive toward the gym.

Every morning and afternoon, we provide a “kiss and go” drop off/pick up. “Kiss and go” is from 8:20-8:30am and 3:30-3:40. Simply pull up and the counselors will ask a few screening questions and take temperatures before your campers get out of the car. We will then welcome them into the camp in the morning! In the afternoon, parents will need to sign out our youngest campers (Diamondbacks). We ask that parents bring their own pen. If you arrive at any other time, please park and call the camp phone. We will bring your camper out to you

Half day campers will be picked up in the drop off/pick up area at 11:30am.

Free Swim

COVID-19 UPDATE The city pool will not be opening Summer 2020

Days of the Week: Monday - Thursday afternoon

Location: City of Phoenix Pierce Pool - Directly across the street from Griffith Elementary. Campers and staff walk to and from swimming.

Safety: City lifeguards guard the pool. There will be Lifeguard Certified Hubbard staff on deck during swim time observing our campers even when city lifeguards are on duty. Additional Hubbard staff will be in the water watching the campers.

Swim Test: The city lifeguards administer a swim test. Campers must swim the width (about 20 yards) of the pool independently. Campers who do not pass the swim test or choose not to take it, will be given a life vest (US Coast Guard approved) to wear while swimming.
